Meet Èlia

I'm Èlia Barriga Polo, founder of Rauxa Studio, a textile and product designer with over 14 years of experience working directly with manufacturers.

I specialize in bridging design and production. That means not just creating ideas, but making sure they can actually be built efficiently, accurately, and without unnecessary back-and-forth.

Over the years, I've lived and worked across Europe, North Africa, and Asia, collaborating closely with mills, factories, and suppliers. This hands-on experience gives me a deep understanding of fabrics, construction, and the realities of production, from woven shirting to technical activewear.

Today, I partner with brands who want more than design. They want clarity, structure, and someone who understands the full process from concept to final product.

My approach is straightforward: clear communication, practical solutions, and a strong focus on making things work, not just look good.

Rauxa means "impulse" in Catalan. For me, it represents the energy to move ideas forward and turn them into something real.

What I Do

Fabric & Material Development

Original woven fabrics and performance materials designed with production in mind, not just aesthetics.

Production-Ready Tech Packs

Clear, detailed documentation that factories can follow without guesswork, reducing errors, sample cycles, and delays.

Supplier Communication & Development

Direct collaboration with mills and factories, ensuring ideas translate into real, manufacturable products.

How I Work

Clear communication and practical solutions

Clear communication and practical solutions are at the core of how I work, always with a strong focus on making things work in production, not just on paper.

Depending on the project, I support specific stages like tech pack development or fabric work, or stay involved throughout the full development process.

When involved, I work closely with suppliers, solve problems early, and keep development moving forward without unnecessary delays.

The goal is always the same: fewer delays, fewer revisions, and products that actually work in production.
